If you sign up for our newsletter through our webshop we will also store the following information:

  • Time for signing up for the mailing list
  • Information about your opening or reading each of our newsletters

The exception is information regarding financial transactions that are stored in accordance to Norwegian law. If items are to be shipped later or by complaints/returns we will store data like name, address, phone number and e-mail address to be able to ship the items to you. This is information that will be shared with a third party like mail service or transport services to ship your items to you.

If you buy items in our web shop, we will store and use your information to be able to send you the merchandise. This is information like name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This information is only used to be able to ship your goods to you and for no other purposes. This is information that will be shared with a third party like mail service or transport services to ship your items to you.

3.3 Marketing communication & newsletters
When you register to receive our newsletter, information will be stored about you so that we can be able to send you e-mail with offers/campaigns or other marketing communication. This information is not used for any other purposes.

4. Your rights

4.1 Access to personal information

4.2 Correcting information
If the information we have stored about you are wrong, you have the right to get it corrected. This can be done by sending an e-mail to: cs@mallofnorway.com We will get back to you as quickly as possible and within 30 days.

4.3 Deleting your personal data
You have the right to get any personal data we have registered on you deleted. The exception is financial transactions that shall be stored according to Norwegian law. For information stored for sending newsletters and marketing campaigns, you can unsubscribe at any time, and get your information deleted by following a link added to every newsletter or by sending an e-mail to: cs@mallofnorway.com

5. Inquiries

5.1 Inquiries in the store
For safety reasons, our store is surveilled by cameras. Recordings are stored by a third party, Kontorland. There is a data processing agreement between the parties. Recordings are deleted automatically after 14 days. The recordings will only be used in case of suspicions of theft or other criminal activities. In the case of these events, the recordings showing these events will be handed over to the police.

5.2 Inquiries by email
When you contact us by e-mail, this information, and if applicable -your personal information- will be stored in our e-mail system. This information will only be used to accommodate your inquiry. Each staff member has a responsibility to go through their e-mail accounts and delete e-mails that are irrelevant, and at least once a year go through their account, deleting any irrelevant content.

5.3 Inquiries by telephone
When you contact us by telephone, information will be stored about time and duration of the call. When you contact us directly via mobile phone, time and duration of the call will be stored in the phone log. Information will not be stored or used for other purposes than statistics and cost management purposes.
